Just beautiful!!......landings at Quito, Ecuador some 300 plus feet higher somewhat even more exciting ...especially back in the early eighties in a DC10... had to be towed back at the end of the runway to be turned around...it was rather short lol

LOVE Telluride and really LOVE their moto! "Some Fly at 9070' we LAND" Not only is it the highest commercial airport in the USA it is the 2nd highest commercial airport in the world. Recognized this view immediately, have seen it many times from the cockpit.
